Ladies and gentlemen, we now have a large selection of photos from race day available for your viewing pleasure. You can find them on our Flickr Feed.
The 2014 Deer Lake 67 results are now live. Head to our results page to check them out.
Here are some Thanks You notes to pass on for local businesses that have graciously decided to support this year’s race:
Thank you to Western Trading Limited (Honeywagon) for donating two portable toilets to support AS3 and AS4.
Thank you to Colemans who have donated some of the food supplies that will stock AS1, AS2, AS3 & AS5.
Thank you to the Pasadena Foodland for providing all of the food supplies for AS4.
Thank you to Deer Lake Video for providing two boxes of Big Turk chocolate bars. Each racer will get a complimentary one in their race kit.
Thank you to Shears Building Supplies for donating some of the race course marking materials.
Thank you to the Department of Natural Resources for donating the four trays of seedlings that will given to racers and volunteers as a momento of this great event.
All this wonderful support is what makes the Deer Lake 67 such an amazing, community based, event. We hope that all the racers enjoy it!
Just after 8:00am on Friday, 29 Aug 2014, the West Coast Morning Show (CBC Radio One) will be interviewing our Race Organizer, Lorne Reid, and one of our racers, who is coming from outside the province, Terry Burt.
Be sure to tune in!
This is just a reminder that the pre-race volunteer briefing for the 2014 Deer Lake 67 will be held this evening at 7:00pm at the Holiday Inn Express. Our race organizer, Lorne Reid, will go over the volunteer tasks in details and answer any questions that volunteers may have. Hope to see you all out this evening.
Here it is folks, the start list for this year’s race. Enjoy!
We have had a few requests to see the elevation chart for the race. As such, it was time to finally put one together. This chart is based off of Garmin 910XT data taken from last year’s race.
